Ersalan A. Rahman, M.D.
Dr. Ersalan A. Rahman received his medical
degree from the Medical College of Virginia in
1999. After graduating Dr. Rahman completed
his Ophthalmology residency at the
University of Michigan at the W.K.Kellog Eye
Center in Ann Arbor in 2003. Dr. Rahman
went on to continue his advanced fellowship
training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and
Adult Strabismus at the Baylor College of
Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital in
2004. Dr. Rahman participated in numerous
scientific research projects, published peer
reviewed articles and has lectured on pediatric
ophthalmic diseases, and post operative
surgical outcomes.
Dr. Rahman has treated patients with diabetic
retinopathy, macular edema, age related
macular degeneration, and glaucoma. Dr.
Rahman continues to participate in clinical
research with Charles A. Garcia, M.D., and is
board certified.
Dr. Rahman a member of the American
Academy of Ophthalmology.
